Responsibility
- rise Workforce Solutions are supporting one of our key clients with a recruitment drive for Registered Adult Nurses - Functional Assessors
- be the first point of contact during the initial meeting with claimants with a wide range of health conditions and disabilities
- clinical evaluation of all evidence from the claimant
- the assessment, the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care for critically ill adults
- communicate with a range of teams across the NHS and private healthcare sector, charities as well as support organisations
- to undertake a combination of telephone, video calls and face-to-face assessments of customers in relation to a variety of benefits
- ensuring that appropriate arrangements are in place for patients being discharged to hospital wards or referred hospitals
- acting as an effective role model and effective mentor supervising junior staff and unqualified staff in all aspects of care
Requirements
- continued support is offered in your chosen path of progression
- NMC pin with no restrictions on practice
- broad-ranging clinical experience working with adults
- 1-year recent broad-based medical experience with adults
- registered Mental Health or Learning Disability Nurses also welcome to apply
- excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills
- interpersonal skills and be adept at relationship building
- be a clinical expert in your area
