- ensuring the advisor has provided correct legal advice that is tailored to the client’s circumstances, and such advice has been thoroughly documented
- checking all legal work completed by the advisor throughout the estate administration. This includes, but is not limited to, grant applications, IHT forms, estate accounts, post-death variations and trust deeds
- providing weekly feedback to advisors under supervision, including a one-hour coaching session per week to discuss all files submitted for supervision, followed up with written feedback
- providing ongoing supervisory support including ad hoc legal questions
- the role is perfect for an experienced Private Client Solicitor/Legal Executive who is passionate about developing and mentoring the next generation of Private Client lawyers by way of comprehensive supervision, whilst continuing to maintain client relationships with a small case load of advanced-level work
Requirements
- an advanced level of knowledge of Private Client with at least 3 years PQE within this field
