  • manage and maintain vehicles and equipment, including driver records , ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation

Requirements

Responsibility

  • branch / Dept. Warrington / Operations
  • dealing with inbound telephone calls
  • management of client storage, including inventories and ensuring billing is done
  • receiving goods-in documentation from the warehouse
  • deputising and assisting the Operations Manager
  • entering goods received information into the operations system
  • providing holiday and sick cover for invoicing, crate management etc
  • liaise with Dealers, Manufactures and End User clients to co-ordinate the receipt and onward delivery of orders

Responsibility

  • to maintain the warehouse environment ensuring it is kept in a controlled, orderly and tidy manor
  • to receive inbound client goods, ensuring their condition and quantities are thoroughly check before that are stowed away
  • informing Operations of goods received
  • note and report any damaged goods received
  • prepare and manage client stock records
  • pick and prepare goods for re-delivery
  • supervise the warehouse during loading to ensure staff are completing their tasks as instructed
  • supervise the staff loading and preparing vehicles in the yard

hgv driver

Requirements

  • proven experience as a delivery driver or in a commercial driving role
  • driving: 4 years

Responsibility

  • communicate with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status
  • adhere to all relevant driving laws and regulations
