I recently visited Aryaz supermarket with the intention of purchasing a zero-nicotine vape. The experience turned out to be not only frustrating but also deeply disappointing due to the disrespectful and uninformed behavior of the staff. Upon asking for a non-nicotine option, the staff member showed a complete lack of understanding about the products, not even knowing what “zero nicotine” meant. When prompted to verify the product’s nicotine content, it was suggested I check the packaging myself, which ambiguously indicated it was zero nicotine. However, the vape itself had no clear labeling to confirm this, leading to understandable concern about its contents. Attempting to resolve this confusion, I was met with further disrespect. The staff member disappeared for an extended bathroom break, leaving me waiting for over 10 minutes. Upon his return, instead of addressing the issue, he chose to chat with a friend, further wasting my time and ignoring my growing frustration. When I expressed my concerns and requested a refund, stating that the product did not clearly match my needs as it lacked proper labeling, the situation escalated. The staff member’s friend inappropriately intervened, offering a mere £5 in cash as compensation for a product I had paid £9 for by card. This resolution was not only unsatisfactory but also handled in an unprofessional manner that disregarded my rights as a customer. This experience has not only deterred me from returning to Aryaz supermarket but has also compelled me to advise others to steer clear of this establishment if they value respectful, informed customer service, and transparent product information.
