  • response is a rapidly expanding and established M&E Company with Regional Offices in South Wales, Somerset and Southampton
  • our workshops provide heavy and light fabrications for our client’s projects
  • we have our own in-house design team
  • all safety and equipment training will be provided, including MEWPS, Confined Space and Rescue Recovery
  • A Vacancy exists in our South West branch for a mechanical fitter with fixed plant and mobile plant experience, also an experience fabricator welder at the Cheddar Workshops
  • our clients are major aggregate producers throughout the UK and our South West branch at Cheddar support their sites in the South West Region
  • 22 Days holidays plus 8 Bank holidays
  • overtime at premium rates available on weekends time and a half Saturday and Double time Sunday

  • 2391 qualification is advantageous but not critical
  • candidates must have a full UK driving licence
  • to provide our customers with the highest levels of service and in order to meet their demands we are looking to recruit additional 17th Edition qualified Approved Electricians to complement our existing team
  • you should be comfortable operating either autonomously or as part of the wider team
  • we are seeking individuals who are experienced in the installation & maintenance of a wide range of Electrical Services & Systems with the ability to test, inspect & issue appropriate certification at the point of delivery if necessary
  • & Safety is a prerequisite
  • A broad understanding of electrical control, motor control, safety systems and the ability to work from and interpret electrical schematics is important, as well as being able to provide high quality work at all times reflecting your own pride in what you do

  • additionally, you will promote and develop our client’s health and safety policies and ensure that your work complies with industry standards
  • as an Electrical Contracts Supervisor, you will be responsible for client liaison, installation supervision and control of health and safety on site
