• the Service Desk Manager will act as a main lead for HRA Service desk, working with well-motivated customer focussed staff which will act as the first point of contact for HRA Service users, ensuring that all calls, emails and support queries are logged, answered and dealt with appropriately

• the HRA Digital directorate is responsible for developing, delivering, and supporting complex solutions within the HRAs portfolio or national information systems for health and care research
• this role will be expected to devise, operate and manage within Service Level Agreement/Operational Level Agreement standards expected by customers for the first line Service Desk function
• this includes a major programme to build a new Integrated Research Application system and to achieve the successful migration and eventual closure of current systems
• the Service Desk Manager will work within the Digital directorate forming the bridge with business teams and 3rdparty Service Desks to ensure all support queries have well defined triage process, providing modern customer service experience to HRA service users
• continual Service Improvement
• the role will be required to work closely with Head of Service Delivery to implement and encourage adoption of ITIL practices on the first line support function, enabling HRA to provide modern support experience to the service users

• this requires in-depth knowledge of the PROMs, how they have been used and how to interpret the resulting data
• applicants with the skills to contribute to both roles would be welcome
• designs and develops Patient-Reported Outcome Measures covering a wide range of chronic conditions, and licenses them to pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, universities, clinicians, academics, and students world-wide
• A PhD in psychology , and expertise in multivariable statistics would be desirable for the research role
• in addition, they review the study protocols of other researchers who wish to use our PROMs and advise on optimizing their use
• we have offices in Egham, TW20, which has good rail and bus connections, and there is a private, secure car park
• the position offered are full-time and permanent , though part-time would be considered
• we are looking for someone who can get involved in the translation and linguistic validation of PROMs, and for someone to contribute to the research part of the business
• salary would be commensurate with experience and qualifications, in the range of £35,000 - £45,000\* pa, or pro-rata
