Responsibility
support the implementation of ISRS within the UK contracts as part of the Specialities Division’s wider implementation plan
conducting site visits around the UK to perform internal audits and management of the internal audit programme
creation and communication of weekly and monthly business SHEQ reports
working with the central teams to assist with the completion of partner questionnaires in relation to quality, CSR and environmental compliance
supporting the management and administration of the Business Management System, ensuring that documents are updated and re-issued as required and assisting with document amendments relating to the SHEQ department
preparing and conducting the central UK annual management review in line with the requirements of the applicable ISO standards whilst supporting each UK contract in their review
experience in issuing, following up and closing corrective actions
compliance officer
Responsibility
ensure Site Operations are in compliance with Environmental Permits and other associated environmental legislation
assist technical manager with onsite sampling relating to materials, permit compliance and other relevant legislation
assist sites and manage on site pest control functions
submission of the Quarterly Emissions Report, Annual Biofilter Monitoring Report, Fly Monitoring Trigger exceedances and the finalising of the Annual Environmental Monitoring report to the environment agency
creating a working relationship with regulatory officers and managing communications with regulatory bodies with assistance from technical manager and site Manager
within this role you will provide technical support on managing the sites pest control programme and take a lead in carrying out daily on-site and off-site environmental inspections and assessments

hands-on weighbridge operation as and when required to ensure Weighbridges fully staffed during holidays and absence
ownership of the SHEQ culture and behaviour for the contract
ensuring accuracy of data collated from off takers and recorded within TIM
interaction with the Finance Department to ensure data is reconciled and the generation of invoices in a timely manner
assist and promote in meeting contractual and business recycling performance targets
completion of Waste Data Flow report, corporate social responsibility report and EA returns
ensure the timely completion of actions given by management
develop and review risk assessments and safe operating procedure that are relevant to site activities
Requirements
good communication, listening skills with 3 years’ experience in supervising staff
good knowledge of Transport legislation
clean driving licence with own vehicle
demands high standards of themselves and others and is able to translate this into high quality, high pace output
ability to build and maintain strong, cohesive relationships at all levels
good understanding of health, safety and environmental compliance
good organisation skills and the ability to forward plan making best use of time
high levels of knowledge and skills with IT packages
