- relais & Chateau at Thornbury Castle are seeking a Wedding and Events coordinator to join our professional sales and events team
- you will be working in a unique and beautifully restored Castle, creating truly memorable and impressive 5* experiences for our guests

- set on 15 acres of beautiful land, Thornbury Castle Hotel is the only Tudor Castle operating as a hotel in England
- the Castle has almost completed a multi-million pound refurbishment program bringing back to life the regal grandeur of its past
- our food style is modern British using the best locally sourced produce from our kitchen garden and around the southwest
- located 20 minutes’ drive from Bristol, it offers 27 rooms and suites, an award-winning restaurant, bar and two unique meeting and conference spaces
Requirements
- about You
- be the first contact for all wedding and events inquiries
- prepare proposals and contracts, check billings, invoices and process payments
- use strong attention to detail produce accurate internal function sheets
- ability to identify customers’ needs and respond proactively to all of their concerns
- greet all function organisers and bride for each wedding. Be the point of contact and fully responsible for the ceremony
- sales driven and ability to optimise every sales opportunity
- carry out show rounds, organise and attend wedding fairs and internal events to promote the Castle and its unique offerings
