- we are currently recruiting for an experienced Events Manager on a 12 month FTC basis to join this leading global law firm, working as a key member of their events team in the delivery of a range of global events, including their annual Global Partners Conference
- manage all aspects of the flagship Annual Dinner - Site visits and venue selection, budget, menu negotiation and selection, sourcing external suppliers including entertainment and production, guest list management, sponsorship sales and liaison, production of materials, travel and accommodation arrangements
- event Management for face-to-face events internationally – end to end co-ordination of all event logistics, delegate registration, venue liaison, supplier management, event collateral coordination, speaker liaison, event administration, post event reconciliation and analysis
- promoting compliance with the firm's risk management and other policies and working practices
- joining a small & dedicated team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of a large programme of international training and events
- we’re looking for an experienced Event Manager able to start mid-January, who would enjoy delivering a varied programme of events, working closely with members and sponsors throughout
- developing best practice and implementing and maintaining consistency in team template documents
- with at least 4 years’ experience of managing multiple events, you will be highly organised, a good team player, confident & adaptable to the diverse needs of a global events programme and small organisation
- you’ll be joining this established and prestigious Trade Association within the international financial sector – and take on the running of their varied events – an annual programme of events and training
- project mange end to end delivery of events and organise regular communication with all involved parties including the host firm, conference committee, regional committees, to ensure the event planning timeline runs to schedule
- introducing innovative new ideas to contribute to the business's strategic priorities through event marketing
- this includes flagship events , lunches and CEO programme, as well as workshops, roundtables seminars and conferences covering topics of interest and relevance to their members
- staying abreast of competitor activity and all new developments / venues / suppliers within the events industry
- members are from the banking sector, and international – all the events are London-based reflecting London as an international hub for the banking community

- excellent London and European venue knowledge preferential
- ability to plan, prioritise & deliver to tight deadlines
- excellent communicator, good interpersonal skills, relationship builder
- knowledge of virtual event technology and delivery platforms
- excellent interpersonal & ambassadorial skills
- willingness to travel internationally for events
