Responsibility
- perform inspections and tests on a range of lifting equipment, including cranes, hoists, and forklifts
- conduct thorough examinations and inspections in accordance with relevant regulations and standards
- identify and report any defects or issues found during inspections, ensuring prompt resolution
- carry out routine maintenance and repairs on lifting equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity
- provide technical advice and support to clients regarding lifting equipment usage, safety, and maintenance
- keep accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, and equipment status
- stay updated with industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to lifting equipment
- collaborate with team members to schedule and prioritize inspections and maintenance tasks
Requirements
- proven experience as a Lifting Equipment Engineer or similar role
- strong knowledge of lifting equipment, regulations, and inspection procedures
- relevant certifications and qualifications in lifting equipment inspection and maintenance
- excellent technical and problem-solving skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- strong attention to detail and accuracy
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- valid driver's license
