Responsibility

• support the management of all quality-related issues within the manufacturing team
• ensuring incoming parts from suppliers and internally produced parts meet the quality standards and systems required
• identify root cause and instigate permanent corrective actions for product quality issues

• monitor and report on quality-related key performance indicators including scrap monitoring, rework levels
• responsible for identifying and raising quality issues and for speedily resolving them to ensure zero impact to the customer
• stop production in the event of manufacture of unacceptable goods/processes
• ensure compliance and assist with adherence to the Quality Management system
• assist with training of quality awareness
• responsible for ensuring that the products produced meet quality standards required to minimise quality costs and maximise customer satisfaction whilst ensuring that procedures and processes are adhered to
• work with internal and external parties to resolve quality issues that arise as quickly and efficiently as possible to prevent compromising quality and safety standards
• assist with first off sample approvals
• keep up with current and developing manufacturing and engineering trends that concern product quality
• write reports and present progress at project meetings and to clients
• perform root cause analysis and resolve problems
• support regular inspection meetings to establish an action plan for improving build quality
• train people within own work group
• report on Key Performance Indicators in order to adhere to process and prevent occurrence of any non-conformity relating to product, process or system
• comply with the Health, Safety and Environmental Policies

• preparing and setup of necessary tools and equipment for welding jobs
• participate in and attend cross functional meetings as required
• arranging of parts for welding and staging processes
• propose potential quality or productivity enhancements i.e. continual improvements
• use MIG welding equipment to manufacture parts and assemblies as required, to meet defined production schedules
• work closely with the Quality Assurance department to ensure correct operation and continuous improvement of both process and product
• perform other duties as requested

• we have a new opportunity for a Labeller and Packer to join our manufacturing team based in Daventry
• the primary focus of the role is to apply the appropriate labels to incoming components and to then pack for dispatch in the correct containers. It is essential that there are no customer rejects
• full training will be given in all aspects of the role. Initially the role will be located at out Long March facility with a location move to our Egerton Close facility. Flexibility on location/travel is essential

• the role will require the successful candidate to be working on manual and semi-automatic end forming machines and cutting equipment, to shape, form and assemble stainless steel and Titanium products
• use of measuring equipment including verniers is a requirement and the successful candidate will be required to handle tool changing and be aware of manual handling
