Responsibility
work closely with various departments, assisting line managers & supervisors to understand and implement policies and procedures
promote equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organisation
liaise with managers involved in policy areas such as staff performance and health and safety
make sure that prospective staff have the right to work at the organisation
update, develop and implement policies on issues like working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures and absence management
prepare staff handbooks & contracts
manage redundancy programmes & policies
communicate with staff on issues relating to pay and conditions, contracts and redundancy packages
Requirements
high school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
previous experience in an administrative role is highly desirable
strong attention to detail and ability to accurately enter data into various systems
excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
strong communication skills, both written and verbal
at least 5 years proven work experience in a similar HR role
CIPD level 3 qualification is desirable
ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
