- producing high quality machined components
- programming, setting and operating fixed head CNC lathes
- completing small to large batch work plus prototypes
- work collaboratively as a team member to improve existing processes and quality control
- working with a variety of materials from plastics, aluminium and stainless steels
- ability to work as part of a team as well as under own initiative
- maintain production records to comply with ISO 9001:2015 and company procedure
Education
- GCSE or equivalent
Requirements
- experience with Fanuc controls – On fixed head CNC lathes
- experience with multi-turret machines would be a significant benefit
- understanding of engineering drawings and working with tight tolerances
- strong communication and time management skills
- CAD/CAM experience with Esprit, EdgeCam and OneCNC is desirable
- ISO 9001-2015 experience would be beneficial
