implement and monitor clinical plans for all new young people who enter QPC
oversee clinical education and quality of delivery ensuring psychological support reaches into the young people’s home life and school
train and support your clinical team in completing assessments; clinical reports and intervention with young people
establish and drive a quality assurance programme
ensure the full range of policies and procedures are in place to guide the clinical psychology team
oversee al QPC therapeutic communities; develop and implement new therapeutic models as appropriate
carry out peer reviews
clinical oversight of all prepared QPC young person reports and documents
Responsibility
to attend case conferences and inter-agency meetings as required
ability to use the IT system at QPC ensuring security, access and use of computers in line with the IT policy
any other duties commensurate with this level of post
ensure the clinical environment is properly maintained and liaise with children’s home’s managers to ensure the service complies with schools and children’s home standards
offer suggestions for improvement and feedback/ evidence of outcomes achieved
follow up on safeguarding matters that are reported and ensure safe practice within the team

the minimum contracted hours for the RCCO role are 35 per week and the starting point for unqualified staff members is £10.50

if a staff member completed the minimum amount of hours as per contract throughout the year without any additional shifts then the basic salary would be approximately £19110
we are looking to recruit people with a background in working with and supporting young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties to work within our homes for our Sheffield Home
however, within each children's home and across the organisation there is always the potential for overtime and the normal available hours for staff members normally exceeds 45 hours per week and can be more depending on the staff member’s availability and willingness to complete overtime
the shift patterns cover a range of days, waking nights and sleep-in, however we do not pay a flat fee for sleeping in and all staff are paid their rate of pay for every hour they are within the children's home
