Responsibility
- we have an opportunity for a Buyer at Surface Technology based in Leeds, UK
- lot numbers of inventory used can be traced to the job it is used on
- out of date stock is removed from the book value promptly
- follow company procedures and processes during all purchasing activities
- ensure there are sufficient consumable items on site to allow all areas of the business to operate smoothly
- ensure no chemicals are purchased without Safety data sheets FIRST being reviewed by Surface Technology QHSE and Technical departments
- build and maintain excellent, professional supplier relationships
- to ensure the actual value of stock held is reflected in the booked value of that stock through regular stock counts
