Responsibility

  • we have an opportunity for a Buyer at Surface Technology based in Leeds, UK
  • lot numbers of inventory used can be traced to the job it is used on
  • out of date stock is removed from the book value promptly
  • follow company procedures and processes during all purchasing activities
  • ensure there are sufficient consumable items on site to allow all areas of the business to operate smoothly
  • ensure no chemicals are purchased without Safety data sheets FIRST being reviewed by Surface Technology QHSE and Technical departments
  • build and maintain excellent, professional supplier relationships
  • to ensure the actual value of stock held is reflected in the booked value of that stock through regular stock counts
