procurement manager
Responsibility
- identify, analyse and negotiate all cost-saving opportunities with current and new suppliers
- maintain a comprehensive tracker for savings, cost avoidance achieved
- establish relationships with suppliers and agree terms and conditions – setting up framework purchasing agreements as required and negotiating contracts
- the IT Procurement Manager will form an integral part of the Finance function, establishing and managing supplier relationships, negotiating existing or future supplier agreements with a view to creating cost efficiencies and quality targets and driving the procurement strategy through the business
- foster close working relationships with internal stakeholders across the business
- cost analysis – construct detailed cost models/purchase price analysis of goods and services as required
- actively manage vendor / supplier performance. Review and report on performance of area
- present Procurement performance update and achievements at internal meetings
