PS Catering Management are looking to bolster their term time only team at our newest contract win at Wellington Academy
the job is Wednesday through to Sunday working between the main kitchen and the boarding house
the job is 5 out of 7 days on a rota basis working between the main kitchen and the boarding house
wednesday - Friday shifts will be supporting the main kitchen to deliver our fantastic menus to the students on site
monday - Friday shifts will be supporting the main kitchen to deliver our fantastic menus to the students on site
weekend shifts will be cooking brunch and dinner for our live in students in the boarding house

the role is paid 40 hrs per week however the daily split will differ depending on whether the shift during the week day or the weekend

starting ASAP you will be involved in making sure the kitchen is able to function quickly and have the clean equipment they require to deliver the WOW factor, You will be working Monday - Friday 10.30am -2.30pm

under the direction of the Catering Manager your main duties will involve ensuring the cooking and serving equipment is kept clean and neatly stored ready for use by the kitchen team

city & Guild’s / NVQ qualifications or suitable company in-house training
previous experience as a chef, including holding supervisory responsibility for a minimum of 2 years
understanding of Food Hygiene and Safety or above
successful progressive background in contract catering

happy, outgoing with a positive attitude to work and the team around them
