Responsibility

  • develop strategies to ensure our Quality systems continue to align with current and future business needs
  • report to the Managing Director on the performance of Quality KPIs that reflect the effectiveness of the Quality systems
  • provide professional expertise and guidance on Quality policies, processes and regulations, adopting best practices from the sector and other related fields
  • hold line Management responsibilities of the quality assurance and compliance team
  • play a key role in audits and inspections of the Unit
  • with the Operations Manager, and Managing Director, determine which members of staff require training on each SOP document group
  • work in collaboration with the Managing Director and the Operational teams to ensure our policies and procedures enable delivery of a care service that is a leader in its field
  • lead the development and maintenance of a fully compliant Quality Management System that meets all business and regulatory expectations with a view to achieving an “Outstanding” rating with the Care Quality Commission

Requirements

  • health & Social Care Qualification Level 4 or 5 – Desirable
  • quality and or Compliance role experience within Health & Social Care – Essential
  • advanced knowledge of CQC regulation and governance requirements - Essential
