  • proskill Engineering has an opportunity for a trainee powder painter to join our busy paint team to help clean and powder paint medical equipment

production supervisor

Responsibility

  • oversee each department with day-to-day tasks, such as preparing jobs and reporting work orders on the ERP/MRP system
  • provide support to the Production Manager with daily HR responsibilities such as absence management and return to work meetings
  • ensure business processes are followed in line with the QMS, reporting all non-conformances to the QC department
  • communicate any continuous improvements to suitable persons
  • provide cover by working within different departments at various stages of the production process when required
  • liaise between departments and assist the Production Manager as required
  • drive efficiency, productivity, and output throughout the production process
  • assist the Health & Safety Officer to ensure safe working practices are adhered to

upholsterer

Responsibility

  • measure, cut, and fit medical-grade fabrics, vinyls, and other materials to upholstery on medical equipment, ensuring both comfort and durability
  • ensure all work complies with healthcare regulations and cleanliness standards, particularly infection prevention and control
  • use specialised tools, sewing machines, and equipment to upholster
  • maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all equipment and materials are properly stored and maintained as per industry standards
  • follow safety guidelines and protocols, particularly when working with medical equipment
