Responsibility
- oversee and manage a fleet of vans, LGV's and FLT's, ensuring their safe and efficient operation
- develop and implement maintenance schedules to keep vehicles in optimal condition
- investigate any vehicle damage and take appropriate action
- agree, implement and maintain a Service Level Agreement with equipment suppliers
- coordinate vehicle repairs and maintenance with external vendors ensuring the most cost effective Solution for Proserve
- monitor fuel consumption and implement strategies to improve fuel efficiency
- track and analyze fleet data, including mileage, maintenance costs, and driver performance
- ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards
Education
- GCSE or equivalent
Requirements
- proven experience in fleet management or a similar role
- strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair processes
- familiarity with relevant regulations and safety standards
- excellent organizational and time management skills
- strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- effective communication and interpersonal skills
- proficient in using fleet management software and tools
- fleet management: 5 years
