- surface stripping and preparation using sanding operations
- fibreglass, carbon and Kevlar repairs using hot-bonding and vacuum techniques
- filament winding processes
- metallisation application processes
- surface preparation and masking for paint application
- bonding processes and mechanical fitment of replacement parts
- balancing operation of finished products
Requirements
- previous experience of composite processes to a high level of accuracy and finish
- capability to follow detailed procedures
- comfortable with working towards KPIs
- customer centric approach
- PC experience required. Ability to take and file digital photos, manage emails etc and data inputting all form an important part of this role
- willingness to work flexibly and be adaptable to the operational needs of the business
- prepared to learn both inspection and rework skills to eventually process entire propeller assemblies
