purchase ledger
Responsibility
- inputting purchase invoices to the finance system
- matching invoices to POs and ensuring they have been correctly coded and approved
- reconciling supplier statements, filing invoices and resolving supplier queries
- processing expenses and credit card payments
- preparing BACs payments for authorisation
- recording and maintaining prepayments
- assisting in other ad-hoc duties as required
Requirements
- at least 2 years previous experience in a similar role, industry or practice bookkeeping
- strong communication skills and able to communicate effectively throughout the business
- be hard working, organised and with strong attention to detail
- excellent attention to detail
- excellent communication and able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- enthusiastic and able to use own initiative
- good team player with flexible approach to ensure deadlines are met
- experience of working within a Manufacturing environment would be an advantage
