Requirements

  • ● Experience reviewing and authorising UK and International payments
  • ● Part-qualified or with Master’s degree in accounting/Finance with at least 3 years’ experience
  • ● Has prior experience of managing or leading a small team
  • ● Knowledge and understanding of the Charity Sector and the process of Gift Aid
  • ● Knowledge and understanding of the wider charity sector including Charity Commission regulations
  • ● Comprehensive knowledge on bookkeeping, Reconciliation, P&L and Balance Sheet
  • ● Excellent communication interpersonal skills, with ability to write clear reports and presentation
  • ● Proven track record and strong capability in financial planning, reporting and analysis, using MS Excel

Responsibility

  • ● Ensure financial database is accurate, check for discrepancies
  • ● Overseeing and reviewing payments and disbursements processes and controls
  • ● Responsible for managing three direct reports, training, and mentoring
