• work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to collect all necessary data for estimation purposes
• prepare comprehensive cost estimates, including labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs, specific to roofing projects

• identify opportunities for cost savings and propose value engineering options for roofing projects
• adjust estimates in response to project modifications
• keep detailed records of all estimates, bids, and relevant documentation

Requirements

• demonstrated experience as an estimator, specifically within the roofing or broader construction industry
• in-depth understanding of roofing construction methods, materials, and associated costs
• proficiency in using estimating software and tools relevant to roofing projects
