Responsibility
operate the QC Microbiology Laboratory in compliance with Porton Biopharma’s safety policy and cGMP
plan and complete assigned tasks within the required timeframe
responsible for microbiological testing of samples to ensure that they meet approved specifications
verify analytical raw data and release results from the QC Microbiology department as appropriate
hold a Home Office personal license
support the QC Home Office project licence team by assisting with bioassay tasks working at ACDP containment level 2 and 3
support Environmental Monitoring as appropriate
ensure analysis, recording of tests and interpretation of data have been performed in compliance with Communicate progress and escalate issues to line manager and / or senior microbiologist

Responsibility
you will perform reactive maintenance to minimise production downtime by troubleshooting and repairing equipment or utility systems after failure
you will support Engineering projects such as the installation of new equipment
you will actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the PBL maintenance system to improve the reliability of equipment
you will work within the confines of the PBL Safe System of Work and permit to work system
you will complete all relevant mandatory Health and Safety training to able to perform your role
you will maintain PBL equipment and utilities by being responsible for executing a wide range of planned preventative maintenance tasks, including both refrigeration and electrical maintenance
you will complete all paperwork as required to meet GMP standards
when required, you will supervise contractors to ensure they operate according to their RAMS
