- preparation of monthly ledger reconciliations and identification of incorrect postings
- assisting the Management Accountant at month end to prepare detailed variance analyses supporting results presented and at cost centre/project levels
- supporting the Company’s annual budgeting process with detailed analysis
- reporting the Company’s cashflow and presenting weekly reports to the Head of Finance
- supporting the Company’s annual audit as required, including the preparation and finalisation of UK and Irish statutory accounts
- supporting internal and external audits – tax, financial and internal
- assisting with the improvement and/or implementation of financial policies, ensuring regular reviews and updates followed up as required
- supporting the preparation of annual tax returns
Requirements
- accountancy qualification
- experience as defined by type/level
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- experience in relevant technical area
- ability to work effectively as part of a team
- full understanding of accounting principles
- excellent attention to detail
- hands-on experience in detailed data analysis
