Portico are currently on the look out for an experience Receptionist to join our small team at a multi occupied building in the buzzing area of White City.This newly refurbish campus provides space to a diverse range of companies varying from globally renown media institutions to tech-based fashion retailers.Based in the main entrance, on the ground floor reception. The successful Receptionist will have a focus on the meeting and greeting of guests, following welcome and guest registration procedures. In order to ensure a smooth and seamless visitor journey.They will also have responsibility to the switchboard, answering and re-directing telephone calls in a professional and polite manner. As well as keeping an accurate record of the visitor passes, managing the Reception email accounts, and helping management with any ad hoc duties.Hours: 40hours week (including lunch break) Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00, 08:30 - 17:30Salary: £30,234The key ability for this role is to have fantastic people skills and the ability to engage with the clients and tenants of the building. They play and essential role in the front of house services at this site, with a focus on exceptional customer care at the core of everything they do!The role of the Welcome Host is not just the meet and greet on reception but includes the delivery and operation the meeting rooms service. The main responsibilities for the successful candidate will focus around taking care of the visitor journey from a smooth and warm welcome, to a found and memorable farewell. Providing exceptional levels of customer service along the way!Some of the key responsibilities of the role are: -Ensuring visitors are signed into the property and verified to be an authorised visitor before being provided with access to the lifts.Ensuring all visitor passes have been checked back in from the previous day and are in number orderRemain vigilant and look out for any security risks such as left luggage or unregistered visitors loitering in the reception areasMeet and greet all clients and employees in a warm and welcoming mannerTake clients’ coats/bags and store safelyAdvising hosts of their visitors’ arrival and organising beveragesBooking meeting rooms and reconfirmation of all bookingsChecking of all meeting rooms to ensure the correct set-up for forthcoming meetingsEnsure reception, client lounge and all client areas are maintained clean and tidy, liaising with the cleaning team for any spillages or areas that require attentionBooking taxis for clients on requestEnsure meeting rooms are managed and set-up correctly including any presentation support, video/telephone conferencing, stationery, catering and hospitality requirementsAssist client functions when necessaryAnswering the reception phone within 3 rings and doing so in a courteous and professional mannerTo take ownership of enquiries providing an appropriate responseMonitoring trends, data and statistics and reporting monthlyAct as an ambassador to the clientBe fully conversant with the firm'

We are looking for a customer focused Corporate Receptionist (Welcome Host), for our team based at a brand-new building in the City.Portico have been selected to create a bespoke, innovative, and memorable guest experience for all within this multi-tenanted building in the city, with a diverse range of corporate and technology occupiers.To succeed in the role, you must be a people person! Based on the ground floor reception, the focus of the Welcome Host will be guest interaction. Dealing with a variety of guests and requests, you will need to read the person in front of you and adapt your service style to their individual needs, whilst ensuring that you follow the welcome and guest registration procedures specific to the occupier in which they are visiting.You will be the go-to person in the building. So, it is important that you can use your bubbly personality and interpersonal skills to build rapport and strong working relationships with all stakeholders and colleagues, both internal and external. Adhoc admin duties are also a requirement of the role, supporting the Front of House Manager in training new team members, as well as assisting the building management team where necessary.The VMS used onsite is Touchpoint and you will have a head start if you have used this system before.
