Responsibility
- pope & Meads are an industry leading precision engineering business, manufacturing bespoke solutions to scientific, medical, aerospace and defence sectors
- set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce high tolerance components
- interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure precise machining
- perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance
- inspect finished parts for quality, making necessary adjustments as required
- collaborate with the engineering team to develop and refine machining processes
- adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements
- experience with materials such as Aluminium, Titanium, Stainless Steel and Plastics
- experience as a 5-axis Mazatrol controls
- proven experience as a CNC Miller
- proficiency in setting up and operating CNC milling machines
- attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
- knowledge of industry regulations and standards is a plus
