Responsibility

  • responsible for the controlling of all stock for the site ensuring sufficient stock levels to satisfy changing demands, trends and seasonality
  • to continuously review methods and seek ways to implement best practice
  • maintaining an up-to-date database of all Raw Material levels
  • identifying and recording all Raw Material deliveries
  • responsible for the day to day functions of the Stock Control and Warehouse Administration area, ensuring that daily tasks are carried out effectively and timely to allow effective operations on site
  • communicating New Raw Material deliveries to BRC & Compliance manager
  • take ownership of the stock control function, making it your own and being responsible for the integrity of all stock on site

  • internal auditing where necessary
  • providing support to the HSE and BRC Compliance Officer and all managers in achieving legislative compliance and implementation of the company Health & Safety Management system and BRC Regulations & Standards
  • assist in the preparation for third party audits, customer visits and BRC

  • previous knowledge of Health and Safety and BRC in the workplace is essential

  • pack finished components into boxes and palletize, consistently achieving productivity targets
  • maintain optimum Health and Safety standards and keep the area clean and tidy at all times
  • ensure the factory area around the machine is kept clean and safe to work in
  • you will be required to help with machine operation as well as checking the finished products on completion of manufacturing, pack and make ready for despatch the goods to the customers
  • loading and unloading of the machines, ensuring all other tasks as required are carried out safely and you are able to work closely with other members of the team
