- being able to combine a developing technical knowledge with sales skills
- working towards building relationships with existing customers within specific industries
- develop new clients within product areas including with some soft targets and some cold contacts
- manage and interpret customer enquiries via email/telephone or site visit and specify the correct equipment for the applications
- to develop customer solutions from first principals including, initial concept, preparing quotations and negotiating orders
- ensure all quotations meet customer requirements, and comply with Standards and regulations
- follow up and monitor quotation status with customers
