PLUSIMAGE is looking for employees for positions:
- full-time | Part-time | Permanent
- visually inspect plastic products to the required quality standards
- identify non-conforming product to a team leader
- weigh/Piece Count products into the correct boxes/bags
- seal boxes/bags, label and palletise
- work as part of a team and communicate any problems to your supervisors
- identify opportunities for improvement and submit justification/reasons to Management
- to carry out any other reasonable tasks as may be requested from time to time by the Company
- to observe Health and Safety regulations as laid down in company procedures and by Government legislation
- experience of a factory environment beneficial but not essential
- all necessary training will be given, so a willingness to learn is important
- the ability to work in a methodical manner would also be an advantage
- carrying out change overs to other product sizes/types, proving and trialling them prior to them being released into production
- to create detailed work instructions and process settings where applicable that facilitate efficient component assembly
- to train and develop colleagues and operatives
- to carry out department performance analysis/investigations and put necessary improvements in place
- reduction in rejects through staff training and improved process control/design
- identify opportunities for improvement and submit justification/reasons to Management
- to carry out any other reasonable tasks as may be requested from time to time by the Company
- to observe Health and Safety regulations as laid down in company procedures and Government legislation
- must have demonstrable knowledge and experience with a combination of pneumatics, basic electrics, mechanics and general maintenance
- GCSE or equivalent
- experience of a factory environment beneficial but not essential
- all necessary training will be given, so a willingness to learn is important
- the role is quite physically demanding, so a reasonable level of fitness would be an advantage
- the ability to work in a methodical manner would also be an advantage
- fill material hoppers with the correct material
- check quality of products and record these checks
- empty product catch boxes into transit cartons. Seal boxes and palletise
- identify non-conforming product to a team leader
- regrind sprues and rejects in the correct grinding machine
- work as part of a team and communicate any problems with your fellow shift workers at the end of your shift
- identify opportunities for improvement and submit justification/reasons to Management
- to carry out any other reasonable tasks as may be requested from time to time by the Company
