Responsibility

  • conducting routine inspections of the premises to identify maintenance needs and repairs
  • handling various repair tasks, including but not limited to plumbing, painting, carpentry, and general maintenance
  • responding promptly to maintenance requests and ensuring timely resolution of issues
  • maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of work areas and tools
  • evaluating and sourcing materials and supplies needed for repairs and maintenance
  • collaborating with other team members to plan and execute maintenance projects
  • assisting in maintaining equipment and machinery to ensure their optimal functionality

Requirements

  • UTR number as the position is self employed
  • proven experience as a onsite maintenance operative or in a similar maintenance role
  • basic skills in plumbing, painting, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs
  • proficiency in using common tools and equipment required for maintenance tasks
  • strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • excellent time management skills and ability to work independently
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
  • good physical condition to perform tasks that may involve lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions

Responsibility

  • carry out drainage investigations, repairs, and maintenance
  • diagnose and resolve drainage issues using CCTV surveys, jetting, and excavation
  • monthly, Quarterly and annual Descale of drainage systems
  • perform general plumbing work, including pipe repairs, installations, and leak detection
  • respond to emergency callouts and provide timely solutions
  • work closely with customers to ensure high levels of service and satisfaction
  • maintain and service drainage and plumbing equipment
  • adhere to health and safety guidelines and industry standards

Requirements

  • proven experience as a Drainage Engineer with plumbing skills
  • knowledge of drainage systems, jetting, and CCTV drain surveys
  • plumbing experience needed
  • ability to diagnose and repair drainage and plumbing issues effectively
  • strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • full UK driving licence
  • excellent customer service and communication skills
