Responsibility

- consistently meet and exceed sales goals

- build a pipeline of high quality opportunities across different client types
- build a pipeline of up to 100 high quality opportunities across different client types
- own the full sales cycle from first contact through close
- work closely with PitchBook's Sales Development Representatives to identify and understand potential new clients
- work closely with our Inside Sales team to better understand potential new clients
Requirements
- bachelor's degree, preferably in economics, finance and related majors or equivalent relevant experience
- bachelor's degree, commonly in economics, finance or related majors or equivalent experience required
- enjoy networking and talking with new people every day - terrific at it all the way to the Executive level
- love of and basic understanding of technology
- possess strong negotiation skills and proven ability to effectively close leads
- like to work independently, but love being part of a close-knit team that cheers each other on
- interest in financial markets or services, particularly private equity and venture capital
- generally at least 3 years of successful outside sales/business development experience and often times with a technology product
