supply chain administrator
Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- monthly auditing of suppliers against the business’s standards
- ensuring the supply pipeline meets current and forecast demand and any issues are flagged prior to becoming an issue
- planning weekly intake of carcasses, forecasting in 6, 12 and 24 month periods
- liaising with suppliers to ensure product standards are upheld and intake is smooth
- working closely with farmers to ensure compliance with the business’s standards and values
- working closely with production to ensure all products are available to ensure weekly demand is met
- work with the Head Butcher to carry out regular yield tests as required
- raise weekly purchase orders for all production site needs and work closely with suppliers to ensure they are fulfilled
Requirements
- excellent attention to detail
- A keen interest in farming principles and best practices
- comfortable working alone and self managing/prioritising workload to allow the smooth running of the business
- excellent numeracy skills and data analysis
- ability to complete all paperwork clearly and correctly to maintain compliance
- ability to identify and negate any potential issues prior to them having an impact on the business
- excellent communication skills
