Responsibility
- support the catering manager in making sure each catering recruit has a thorough company induction and departmental induction
- providing training and support to each member of the catering team ensuring they are being developed for the future
- attend the morning huddle to ensure sound communication throughout your department
- support the catering manager with team member interviews, when required to do so following the Piglets interview procedure
- working closely with the catering manager to improve sales targets, maintain product margins and department labour costs
- working closely with the catering manager to ensure the weekly/monthly checks are kept up to date. Amending the paperwork if required to do so
- daily ordering of stock, keeping the stock levels at a suitable level and keeping the waste to a minimum
- to maintain our 5-star hygiene rating
