support the catering manager in making sure each catering recruit has a thorough company induction and departmental induction
providing training and support to each member of the catering team ensuring they are being developed for the future
attend the morning huddle to ensure sound communication throughout your department

support the catering manager with team member interviews, when required to do so following the Piglets interview procedure
working closely with the catering manager to improve sales targets, maintain product margins and department labour costs
working closely with the catering manager to ensure the weekly/monthly checks are kept up to date. Amending the paperwork if required to do so
daily ordering of stock, keeping the stock levels at a suitable level and keeping the waste to a minimum
to maintain our 5-star hygiene rating
support the catering manager in ensuring the HACCP system is kept up to date. This must be updated in line with any changes made to food safety and reviewed annually
ensure all daily paperwork and departmental checks are completed to a high standard
ensure all completed paperwork is completed and filed away weekly
cashing up and ensuring all the catering outlets are cashed up correctly at the end of the day, banking the cash and filling in the daily takings report form. Reporting any issues to the catering manager
