dog groomer
Responsibility
- perform grooming services such as bathing, independently professional full dog grooms and nail trims
- ensure the safety and comfort of pets during grooming sessions
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area
- communicate with pet owners to understand their specific grooming requests
- provide exceptional customer service and address any concerns or questions
- monitor the health and behavior of pets during grooming sessions
- assist with other tasks as needed to support the overall operation of the pet care facility
Requirements
- previous experience as a Pet Groomer or related role is preferred
- knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming requirements
- familiarity with grooming tools and equipment
- strong animal care skills and understanding of animal behavior
- excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners
- ability to handle heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
- experience working in a veterinary or pet care setting is a plus
