stock Controller plays a crucial role in ensuring that our warehouse operations run efficiently and smoothly
conduct routine stock counts to ensure accuracy and promptly identify discrepancies
you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, tracking stock movements, and maintaining accurate records to support our distribution operations
receive, inspect, and document incoming products
the successful candidate with be part of a new inventory management system implementation so will be trained to use Linnworks
safely store and organize inventory within the warehouse
maintain a clean and organized work area
assist in the order picking and packing process as required
Requirements
high school diploma or equivalent; additional training in warehouse management is a plus
proven experience in stock control or warehouse management
exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management
have basic computer literacy
maintain a good attendance record
be able to lift up to 25kg box, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibility
develop and implement an events strategy aligned with the company's marketing objectives and target audience
collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless events
manage event budgets, timelines, and logistics, including event selection, marketing requirements and stock
oversee event staffing, including hiring and training event personnel
represent the company at events, engage with attendees, distribute samples, and promote brand awareness
evaluate event success and effectiveness through post-event analysis and reporting, including attendee feedback and ROI metrics
stay current with industry trends and best practices in event management and dog-related events
plan, coordinate, and execute a wide range of events, including but not limited to dog-friendly festivals, country shows and dog shows
Requirements
proven experience in event management, preferably in the pet industry or related field
full, valid UK driving licence
strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise
excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse audiences
creative thinker with a passion for dogs and a genuine interest in promoting pet wellness
ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
flexibility to travel and work weekends or evenings as needed for events
