personal assistant
Responsibility
- organising internal and external meetings across multiple sites and venues
- providing support in and for meetings, such as setting up hybrid meetings, tech support, preparation of reports, agendas and taking minutes
- event-management support, ranging from high-profile events with external stakeholders to team events such as summer and winter parties
- organising national and international travel
- building relationships internally across Penguin Random House departments, and externally with authors and agents
- office management, including looking after the division’s floor space to create and maintain a welcoming, positive and organised environment
- management of the MD and deputy MD’s complex diaries and daily schedule whilst allowing time to prepare for meetings and attend to the day-to-day requirements of their role
- responsible for VINTAGE’s divisional documents, owning the design of these and updating them where appropriate. This includes induction packs, organisational charts and file management
