Requirements

  • experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment
  • strong knowledge of LEAN methodologies
  • proven track record of system and process improvements
  • strong communication skills, with the ability to challenge and collaborate effectively with peers
  • experience using ERP/MRP systems
  • flexibility to adapt to changes
  • high attention to detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines
  • strong continuous improvement capabilities and a ‘can-do’ attitude

engineering manager

Responsibility

  • managing engineering and fleet operations across vehicles, machinery, and equipment
  • ensuring compliance with transport legislation, LOLER, PUWER, COSHH, H&S, and internal ISO systems
  • leading, coaching, and developing the engineering team to achieve performance goals
  • overseeing stock control, KPI reporting, and departmental budgets
  • driving continuous improvement through root cause analysis and defect trend identification
  • collaborating with operational and HSEQ teams to maintain safe, efficient, and legally compliant practices
