Responsibility
- we are currently looking for a new Supervisor to join our Transport team
- manage drivers to ensure duties are carried out in line with set targets
- ensure quality standards are maintained throughout all delivery stages
- ensure full compliance with all relevant legislative and corporate requirements relating to transport
- be the first point of contact for any staff enquiry
- liaise with the Packing team to ensure all boxes are filled and loaded into our vans accurately and on time
- located in the heart of Greenwich, we take pride in producing exceptionally high-quality baked products, made with passion, creativity, and care using traditional baking techniques whilst delivering an excellent service to our customers with every order
- communicate, apply, and enforce company policies
Requirements
- A minimum of 1 year experience as Transport Supervisor
- previous experience of working in a fast-paced operation and as multi- drop driver
- ability to plan, manage your own workload and communicate effectively to others
- knowledge of transport legislation
- experience of dealing with accidents/incidents and overseeing the reporting and investigating
- team management: 1 year
- van driver: 2 years
