Responsibility
- design aerospace composite and hybrid structures using 3D CAD software
- produce detailed engineering drawings to define designs
- work as part of an integrated project team to ensure customers’ requirements are met
- create certification/qualification plans including QTPs and QTRs
Requirements
- an education to degree / HND level in mechanical or aerospace engineering
- demonstration of competence in the design of fibre reinforced composite materials
- familiar with aerospace composite design methodologies and best practice
- proficient in the use of CAD systems, preferably CATIA V5
- good communication, report writing and presentation skills
- ability to work within a small team with a willingness to learn
