Requirements
- expert knowledge of material and garment development, ideally experienced in a textile product development role
- strong technical knowledge across all fibre, yarn and fabric types
- strong technical knowledge in garment construction. Experience in Leisurewear, Knitwear, Activewear, and/or Outerwear preferred
- passion for sustainability and strong knowledge of current environmental issues surrounding textile materials and processes
- A self-motivated and pro-active worker
- significant experience working collaboratively with a design team at luxury level
- experience of relationship management with external suppliers
- experience in delivering in line with budget, critical path, and commercial and technical
Responsibility
- ensure products developed are fit for purpose for the target customer
- work closely with the Impact team to review all new materials, material suppliers and
- work closely with the Sourcing and Production team to identify suitable vendors for each
- new materials, ensuring all requirements are achieved
