Be Free is managed by PAC – Positive Action in the Community, an award winning charity based in East Lancashire. We are looking for a compassionate and motivated ‘Safe at Home’ outreach support worker to deliver a programme of support to support people who have experienced, are escaping or are at risk of Domestic Abuse and Violence, with a strong focus on safety planning and support for survivors to remain safe in their accommodation. We are searching for someone who has a thorough understanding of Domestic Abuse and its impacts. The successful candidate will have the skills to offer clear pathways to safe accommodation, offer thorough and bespoke safety planning to support survivors to remain safe in their accommodation. Strong crisis skills are essential, along with the confidence and ability to present and advocate on behalf of others in a variety of settings. The successful applicant will be highly organised, self-motivated, able to work independently and prioritise a workload.
