travel consultant

Responsibility

  • deliver exceptional customer service through genuine relationship management and a desire to exceed customer needs
  • to sell and book holidays by establishing the customers travel needs to provide the right product and destination
  • preparing travel documentation
  • completing holiday amendments, such as name changes, flight changes, re-booking of travel arrangements and so forth
  • dealing with queries via phone, email and social media
  • provide expert travel advice on products and destinations
  • capture and record required client information
  • build rapport with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business

Requirements

  • experience of working within the Travel Industry would be beneficial, however not compulsory
  • 2 years minimum experience of working within a travel agency
  • excellent customer service and communication skills
  • A genuine desire to achieve results, both personally and as part of a successful team
  • strong written and verbal communication skills
  • self-motivated with a can-do attitude and committed approach
  • A keen eye for detail and be comfortable with multi-tasking
  • ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
