  • strong experience buying food and drink products ideally for a supermarket, wholesaler or similar
  • know all the 'tricks of the trade' within the produce import business
  • ability to run your own show and not be managed by a more experienced buyer
  • ability to build strong relationships with fruit sellers and the team internally
  • attention to detail and willingness to strive for excellence in producing a consistently high-quality product
  • willing to get stuck in, offloading fruit and collecting it
  • willing to work at night/early mornings

  • develop strong relationships with importers, farmers and wholesalers
  • finding private label companies to create our own brand range for certain items
