  • ensure smooth running of your caseload

Responsibility

  • maintaining office and client ledgers
  • daily banking
  • process client and office payments, including fees, invoices and disbursements/anticipated disbursements
  • handle client and bank accounts, reconciling them regularly
  • ensure compliance with legal accounting regulations, AML, Solicitors Accounts Rules and best practices and provide training on financial compliance policy
  • prepare and submit weekly and monthly financial reports to partners or management
  • provide accountants with relevant information for annual financial accounts
  • manage petty cash and office expenses

Requirements

  • legal Cashier/ legal accounts qualification
  • financial acumen and proficiency in accounting principles
  • good academic background
  • analytical skills for reconciling accounts and identifying discrepancies
  • at least 2 years experience in legal finance
  • knowledge of relevant legal accounting software
  • knowledge of legal accounting software
  • proficiency in using spreadsheets and financial software
