Residential Support Worker Permanent. (Nights) Orchard House Northampton Fixed shift pattern - Night shift, starting shift rate, £17,972 based on active working hours and includes £40 sleep-in rate. We operate several 24/7 Supported Accommodation and several floating support step-down homes for children and young people (aged 1625) across Northampton, who are transitioning to leaving care and full independence. We are looking for a full-time Residential Support Worker (Nights) to join our growing team to enhance our commitment to providing high quality support to young people to develop their independence and life skills in a dynamic and caring environment. We are a friendly and professional team that brings a family feeling into our workplace, where we support young people either in a fully staffed home or in a shared step-down house. The ideal candidate will possess the desire to help young people develop independent routines as well as promoting their engagement in education, employment, and training. You must be confident, empathetic, creatively engaging and have a good understanding of children and young people in care and experience with young people that may present as neurodivergent and non-neurotypical and may have varying levels of trauma based behaviours. Shift Pattern - Permanent Days & Nights These roles are based on 2 opposing shift patterns across a 2 week period consisting of: Week 1 - A Shift: 2 days on - 2 days off - 3 days on (5 days working) Working weekend. Week 2 - B Shift: 2 days off 2 days on - 3 days off (2 days working) Non-working weekend. Night shift 8pm-8am consists of the following working schedule 8pm to 12am (Active working) 12am-7am (Sleep-in/Waking.
