Responsibility

  • provide assistance to patients with various mobility classifications, transporting them to and from non-emergency medical appointments throughout the UK
  • working as a two person crew, responsible for either driving the ambulance or supporting the travelling patient
  • offer a friendly ear when needed and ensure that your patients always feel comfortable and safe
  • be responsible for the comfort and safekeeping of all patients in your ambulance
  • inspect and complete daily vehicle and equipment checks, and wipe down the vehicle
  • be dependable and on time
  • help patients with mobility where needed, including the use of a wheelchair to transport them
  • ensure that all patients are collected from their home or medical site and taken to the correct ward or settled at home safely

Requirements

  • no more than 3 live penalty points on their current driving license
  • experience from a patient-focused environment is desirable
  • up-to-date first aid qualification is desirable, but not essential as training will be provided
  • clean, Full, UK Driving Licence
  • you’ll be responsible for safely transporting patients to and from their medical appointments, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the journey
  • A desire to care whilst earning
  • ideally, good geographical knowledge of the London area
  • good all-round communication skills

operations manager

Responsibility

  • fully understand and manage the technology that runs operations, primarily Echo but also telecoms and future innovations
  • work closely with the Head of Fleet to ensure supply matches demand and we can deliver on our demanding SLA criteria
  • take responsibility for accurate daily pricing exceptions
  • the management of all staff within the operations group including the on and off boarding of staff, optimisation of shift times, holidays, sickness, absenteeism, and general performance
  • work with the Head of Compliance & Training to investigate and respond to queries and issues
  • implementation of improved operational procedures across all shifts. This will include standardisation of ways to deal with call answering, customer management, reporting of issues and a consistently professional working environment
  • work with the COO to develop KPI measurements for all aspects of the operations process and use this information to drive change and improvements through all parts of your areas of responsibility
  • work with the COO and sales team on new business and how that may be best integrated to our current business model

Requirements

  • previous experience in a similar role is essential
  • experience of using data to improve performance
  • the ability to present your ideas and rationales to senior management clearly and concisely
