omnicare Pharmacy is looking for a part-time pharmacist manager to work in our branch on Queensferry Road, Edinburgh. The position will operate as a job share alongside another experienced pharmacist
the branch is open Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm and Saturday 9am-1pm. It operates with a healthcare assistant, several dispensing staff and an accredited checking technician
the successful candidate will need to have good communication and customer service skills to ensure continuity of pharmaceutical care is provided to the local community
A collection point within the pharmacy allows patients to collect medication at their convenience, allowing the staff to concentrate on giving pharmaceutical advice to others
an area manager and an operation support officer provide guidance and training for all new staff and help them incorporate into the team. Those wishing to complete further training such as independent prescribing will be fully supported to do this

Requirements
an NVQ2 or NVQ3
A Medicines healthcare Assistant Qualification is preferred also
the drive and ability to build relationship with colleagues, patients and other healthcare professionals
