OLIVE FAMILY PRACTICE is looking for employees for positions:
- answer the telephone
- answer and direct customers to the correct person
- greet customers and answer questions
- attend to customer complaints in an appropriate manner
- organise events and meetings
- answer email, faxes, or letters in a timely manner
- ability to organise work effectively and efficiently
- ability to plan time, prioritise workload and work to deadlines
- can work as part of a team and alone with minimum supervision
- advanced keyboard and secretarial skills, requiring high degree of speed and accuracy
- knowledge of medical terminology
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- flexible approach to work
- to liaise with hospital, community trust etc, arranging and expediting appointments and making general enquiries and follow ups as required
- in addition, you may be required to undertake such other duties within the practice, as may reasonably be required of you
- to provide secretarial support to the practice, as and when required
- ensure patient information is recorded/retrieved on the computer system accurately and promptly
- deal appropriately with instructions and queries from management, Doctors and Surgery staff
