Earnings on positions in OFF THE GRAIN
OFF THE GRAIN is looking for employees for positions:
- picking & packing: 2 years
- packaging completed orders in protective bubble wrap and cardboard boxes to protect them during shipment
- assist in other areas of the business as required
- working within a team of Joiners, assisting with ongoing tasks and ensuring that products are of the highest quality
- we’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Packer to join our team
- pack wooden furniture and homeware products safely and securely using appropriate materials
- you’ll play a key role in making sure our handmade furniture and homeware items are carefully packed and prepared for dispatch
- inspect items for quality before packing, flagging any damage or defects
- label packages accurately and clearly
- organise and stage packed items for collection or dispatch
- keep your packing area tidy and well-stocked with materials
- work closely with the dispatch and production teams to prioritise urgent orders
- good attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
- physically fit — some heavy lifting required
- able to work quickly but carefully, especially during busy periods
- A team player who communicates clearly and helps others when needed
- previous packing or warehouse experience preferred but not essential — training will be provided
